The Sirius match ball from Gilbert is regarded as one of the best rugby balls in the world of rugby. Used during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, the Sirius ball is designed using traditional Gilbert Rugby colors, with the iconic Gilbert oval trims. The ball is named after the brightest star in the sky.
Designed to withstand the toughest conditions, Sirius features an enhanced grip pattern with two star-shaped pimples of varying heights to increase grip and aid water dispersal without compromising durability or aerodynamics. It also features a copolymer 'air-loc' bladder to ensure the ball stays inflated for as long as possible.
